Happy International Women’s Day! What a great day to celebrate diversity within our own EU-CardioRNA COST Action. We currently have 36 countries represented, including 15 “Inclusiveness Target Countries”. Nearly half of our members are female, with more than 50 % of leadership positions within the Action held by women, and almost a third of members are early career investigators (within 8 years after PhD). We should be proud that we are working together to catalyze progress in cardiovascular transcriptomics research, irrespective of nationality, background, sex, gender or career stage, amongst other diverse qualities.
