New EU-CardioRNA review out now in Ageing Research Reviews

Check out the new review published on behalf of the EU-CardioRNA network,Noncoding RNAs in age-related cardiovascular diseases, Jusic et al.

This work resulted from stimulating discussions started at the 4th EU-CardioRNA meeting held in Maastricht in February 2020. Congratulations and thank you to all authors.

Highlight:

 – Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are the leading cause of morbidity and mortality in the adult population worldwide.
 – Noncoding RNAs (ncRNAs) are critical regulators of multiple biological processes related to aging.
 – NcRNAs constitute a reservoir of potential therapeutic targets.
 – Modulation of ncRNAs appears to be a novel promising approach to treat CVDs.
