Successful 2nd COST Action CardioRNA Management Committee and Working Group Meeting
The 2nd CardioRNA meeting took place in beautiful and sunny Lisbon and was hosted by Prof Maria Carmo-Fonseca and the team from the University of Lisbon and Instituto de Medicina Molecular.
Between February 13-15, 2019, CardioRNA participants and ECIs, including local students, interacted and exchanged ideas about the transcriptome and its role and applications in cardiovascular disease.
In an amicable and cooperative environment, the Management Committee planned the next steps of the COST Action and the scientific Working Group Meetings had exciting presentations. For the opening and closing Keynote lectures, invited specialists Dr. Susmita Sahoo and Dr. Lior Zangi from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai shared their expertise in RNA biology.
One of the outcomes of the meeting will be the preparation of a meeting report.
